About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Assistant to support our online sales operations across Shopify, eBay, Mirakl, and other marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, upload, and manage product listings on Shopify, eBay, Mirakl, and other marketplaces.
- Write clear, accurate, and SEO-optimised product titles and descriptions to enhance visibility and conversion.
- Add and maintain metadata, tags, and attributes for each product to support on-site search and SEO performance.
- Ensure product imagery is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with brand guidelines, collaborating with the creative team as needed.
- Categorise products correctly within each platform for an intuitive browsing experience.
- Regularly audit and update listings to ensure pricing, inventory, and details are up to date.
- Assist in setting up collections, bundles, and seasonal campaigns within Shopify.
- Monitor marketplace performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase visibility and sales.
- Support the eCommerce team with daily operational tasks, including uploads, stock checks, and listing optimisation.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, SEO trends, and marketplace best practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in an eCommerce or online retail role (experience with Shopify is essential).
- Working knowledge of Shopify Admin, eBay Seller Hub, and familiarity with Mirakl or similar marketplace platforms.
- Understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimisation, and product metadata.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple listings and platforms efficiently.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for managing product data and bulk uploads.
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Shopify apps or integrations for bulk uploads and product management.
- Familiarity with PIM (Product Information Management) tools or data feeds.
- Basic knowledge of HTML or liquid code (a plus, not required).
- Experience working with creative assets (images, videos, infographics) to enhance listings.
